Job Description

Accountancy Portfolio Manager, up to £55,000 per annum, based on the outskirts of Chard with the option of 2 days per week working from home.

Are you an experienced Portfolio Manager with 5 or more years’ practice experience specialising in the Medical industry? Qualified ACCA or ACA is preferred but if you have practice experience in Medical then this could be the role for you.

As an Accountancy Portfolio Manager you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts across a wide sector and we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, you will:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial goals and providing tailored advice and solutions.
• Monitor and assess the performance of investments within the portfolio, making adjustments as necessary to optimise returns.
• Support the HR Team with the Development and Training strategy.
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews and provide comprehensive reports to clients, highlighting performance, risks, and recommended strategies.
• Analyse market trends, economic indicators, and investment opportunities to make informed decisions regarding portfolio composition.

As an experienced Accountancy Portfolio Manager you will bring your passion and skills

• Thorough understanding of accounting principles, investment strategies, and risk management.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and present it in a clear and concise manner.
• Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial transactions and records.
